Connectors (conjunctions) מחברים בין משפטים, רעיונות או חלקי משפט כדי ליצור משפטים ברורים ומסודרים.

Coordinating / מקשרים בין שווים: and, but, or, so — ו, אבל, או, לכן
Subordinating / מקשרים בין תלויים: because, although, since, if — כי, למרות ש, מאז, אם
Conjunctive adverbs / תואמים: however, therefore, moreover, meanwhile — עם זאת, לכן, יתר על כן, בינתיים
